What is early intervention?  Early intervention refers to therapeutic, educational and medical services provided to children from birth to 3 years of age. Autism Therapy

Autistic Services

Quality Care

It is very important to remember that one method or intervention may not work for every child. Remember that your child is unique, and we work with his or her strengths to help him or her in the best way possible. Treatment of autism can help your child navigate through social challenges, capitalize on his or her strengths and be successful.

Before we get into the types of therapies available, it is helpful to take a step back and look at the bigger picture. Although research and experience have revealed many of the mysteries surrounding autism, it remains a complex disorder that impacts each child differently. However, many children with autism have made remarkable breakthroughs with the right combinations of therapies and interventions.

Restore Healthcare Pediatric Therapists are developmental and behavioral specialists.  We partner with you as part of the treatment process, implement an effective techniques and tools that build on the child’s interests and their individual plan of care, and promote self-esteem solutions.

Early Intervention and School Readiness

Quality Care

Access early intervention and individualized school readiness education services

Does your child seem behind in their development? Do they not have the same skills as other kids their age?  You don’t have to wait for a diagnosis of autism for your child to receive services to address related developmental delays and learning challenges. You can access these services free of charge through your state’s Early Intervention program or your school district’s Special Education office. You can also ask your doctor to refer your child for further medical and behavioral evaluations and therapies.

Based on the evaluation, your child may be eligible for a program of early intervention services called an (IFSP) Individualized Family Service Plan tailored to his or her needs.  If your child is older than age 3 (36 months)

If your preschooler or grade-schooler has autism or related developmental challenges, we will work with you to develop an Individualized Education Program (IEP). The program should address your child’s specific educational needs.

Exceptional Learning State Program

The program offers services that teach you – the parents – to help your child practice skills through play.  There are also services to support your family. Restore Healthcare Pediatric Therapy partner with local state agencies and can assist you with applying for additional services and to learn what your options are.
